Warley Park golf club is a beautiful venue set on the outskirts of Brentwood, Essex. I had visited this venue before when working at a wedding but unfortunetly didn't get a proper look around, so vowed if I returned I was going to have proper good snoop around the place.
Last Friday I attended a family birthday party at the golf club and while everyone was arriving I slipped off to get a look around the venue.
While wondering around the grounds I found what can only be described as the most beautiful and romantic setting for a wedding ceremony. They call it the 'Wedding Pier' and that's exactly what it is. There is a small terrace platform sitting on the lake and then graduated height seating in long benches for your guests to sit at.
Simply beautiful!
However because of the set up would only be workable during summer months. Unfortunately the setting also wouldn't allow for lots of guests but if you where having a small ceremony and then a larger reception this would be perfect.
I would definitely recommend you book yourself a site visit if your from the local area.
